185 works by 145 artists are participating in the virtual auction Por amor a la Liga 6
On Monday, November 17, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., the online auction Por Amor a la Liga 6 will open with the participation of 185 works and 145 Puerto Rican artists or artists residing in Puerto Rico, from the diaspora, and international artists residing on our island. This will be the sixth edition of this important art promotion and sales event, which has grown in importance each year for the local and international exhibition of our artists' creations.
The auction will run until Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. as a fundraising effort to strengthen the Liga's operating fund and, at the same time, support our visual artists.
Admission price $25
Includes participation in a raffle and one-year
membership to the Liga de Arte de San Juan.

ABOUT POR AMOR A LA LIGA
We present the sixth edition of the virtual art auction “Por Amor a la Liga” featuring around 145 artists and 185 works in a variety of media, formats, and prices. This event, benefiting the Liga de Arte de San Juan and participating artists, is once again establishing itself as the largest art auction in Puerto Rico in recent times.
Collectors and art lovers eagerly await this event, where they can appreciate, enjoy, and acquire pieces by artists from Puerto Rico, the diaspora, and international artists residing on our island. “Por amor a la Liga” stands out for the number of participating artists, as well as for the quality and variety of the works on display. It is a true feast of art that benefits the institution, allowing it to continue its programs and activities, as well as the participating artists themselves, as it is a platform to showcase their work. The fact that the auction is held virtually makes it accessible to people from different parts of the world.
This initiative began as a way to raise funds so that the Liga de Arte and artists could cope with the critical conditions caused by the pandemic, and it was so successful that it has continued to be held year after year, always exceeding expectations and serving as a meeting place for great artists and new figures.
This platform will be available from 8:00 a.m. on November 17 to 9:00 p.m. on November 26, 2025. During those ten days, participants will be able to explore the catalog of works, marking their favorites and making bids at any time. The platform remains open for bidding 24 hours a day. The auction process is completely secure and transparent, and those who wish to do so can make additional donations to the Liga de Arte de San Juan from the same platform.
The response from the artistic community has been wonderful in this sixth edition, bringing together figures from different generations who excel in painting, ceramics, photography, drawing, engraving, screen printing, sculpture, goldsmithing, and mixed media. The League team is once again filled with enthusiasm and welcomes this luxurious event with great joy.
